Do catfish have stingers?
Search: do catfish have stingers
Why: Ralph wants to know.
Answer: No. Most catfish have very sharp fins on their sides and back that can certainly puncture you. Some species of catfish, like bullheads, have a mild poison on the tip of these fins - a stinging protein that they will deliver if irritated. These are not stingers but sharp spine-like rays on each side, just behind the head, and on the back.
