Does Antarctica have a capital?

Search
: capital of antarctica

Why: I'm watching a segment on "Nightline" called "Life in the Freezer."

Answer: No, there are no cities on the continent. However, the "unofficial capital" is considered to be King George Island, which hosts bases for 12 different nations: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, China, Poland, Russia, South Korea, and Uruguay (year round), and Ecuador, Germany, Peru, and the US (during summer).
