What are those giant bugs on my door?

: mosquito eater

Why: Tonight, 3 came into my house. Kat calls them "mosquito eaters," which I'm pretty sure is not their real name.

Answer: Their real name is "crane fly." I'm talking about this kind of bug:

The More You Know: People in the UK call them "daddy long-legs," which is a completely different species of bug (that I will not link here, because I don't even want to open the page that belongs to them. Spiders are the absolute worst). Crane flies feed on nectar or nothing at all - once they reach adulthood, they either mate or die. I almost feel bad for RAIDing the crap out of them.
